Wild Roots Cucumber Grapefruit Gin Cocktails with Gin & Tonic Cupcakes
Cocktails & Cupcakes Pairing: Wild Roots Cucumber Grapefruit Gin with “Gin & Tonic” Rose Cupcakes
Distilled in Oregon, this cucumber and grapefruit gin is one of my favorites for making cocktails.
For this cocktail I mixed 2 oz of gin with 1 tsp of my homemade rose petal syrup and 1 tsp of lemon juice in a cocktail shaker with ice then strained into a chilled coupe glass and topped it with chilled club soda. These cocktails were the perfect pairing for my “Gin & Tonic” Rose Cupcakes, which also feature some of the gin in the cake as well as the buttercream frosting.
