Violet Twilight Cocktail

Violet Twilight Cocktail

This lovely cocktail is made with gin, violet liqueur, violet syrup, tonic water, lemon juice and an egg white.

For the cocktail based I used @hendricksgin Lunar Gin, a fabulous floral gin that’s part of their special limited release series inspired by the different phases of the moon.

For the violet elements, I used a combination of the @thebittertruthcompany Bitter Truth’s violet liqueur, one of the best floral spirits I’ve ever tried, along with some of 1883 Maison Routine’s violet syrup.

Sipping this cocktail made me feel like I was in a 1920’s French Boudoir.

To add even more violet flavor, I rolled the rim of the cocktail glass with coarse sugar mixed with crushed candied violet flowers.

Not only is this cocktail beautiful to look at, it’s also delicious, the perfect drink if like myself you’re completely in love with floral flavors. So, get ready to sit back and enjoy this wonderful cocktail at twilight on a beautiful spring evening.
