Afternoon tea at the Dorchester is an elegant affair. Located by London\u2019s Hyde Park, it is a must have experience while in London.<\/p>\n

A beautiful floral arrangement at the Dorchester\u2019s Chelsea Flower Show Afternoon Tea<\/strong><\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n

For my visit to the Dorchester, I booked the hotel\u2019s special Chelsea Flower Show Afternoon Tea, a floral-themed tea in celebration of the annual horticultural event in nearby Chelsea. As a lover of all things floral-related, I couldn\u2019t wait to attend the show myself the following week. My excitement for this special floral tea grew as I walked into the hotel lobby, which was filled with dozens of bouquets of freshly cut flowers.<\/a><\/p>\n

The lobby floor was also carpeted with in a thick blanket of green grass, making me feel like I had just stepped inside a beautiful English garden. <\/a><\/p>\n

The Dorchester\u2019s afternoon was served in a long foyer called the Promenade, luxuriously decorated in shades of orange, olive green and gold. <\/a><\/p>\n

I was seated near a pianist who was playing a classical tune on a grand piano, which made the ambiance even lovelier. <\/a><\/p>\n

The tea service started off with a palate cleansing \u201cblooming\u201d tea, a great tea infused with jasmine blossoms served in clear glass pot so you could watch the tea \u201cbloom\u201d into a flower.<\/a><\/p>\n
