A visit to Bath wouldn\u2019t be complete without a stop for afternoon tea at the Hands Georgian Tearoom, located at the foot of the Bath Abbey and the Ancient Roman Spa. It\u2019s a great place to drink tea while surrounded by incredible history.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Their afternoon tea service consists of assorted tea sandwiches, including roast beef and brie cheese with a cranberry compote; buttermilk scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam; a coffee walnut cake and a Victoria Sandwich cake with buttercream and strawberry jam.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

For the tea selection I ordered a pot of the tearoom\u2019s special afternoon tea blend, a super malty black tea served in pretty blue and white porcelain cups.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

I absolutely loved sitting outside in the courtyard which had a spectacular view of the Bath Abbey and the ancient Roman spa. It was a great place to take a break from the hustle and bustle of Bath while enjoying a cup of tea and a light lunch.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
